OMA MEMBERSHIP REJECTS PHYSICIAN SERVICES AGREEMENT. 55% VOTED IN PERSON & BY PROXY. 63.1 % VOTING MEMBERS REJECTED THE AGREEMENT
DAILY MAIL In 2015 Canada had more people over 65 than children under five. Fiscal problem. Cost of Meducal care increasing with more aged and new expensive investigation and treatment. No limit on lifetime medical costs.
OMA Pres.Virginia M WALLEY MD (UWO 1978) FRCPC (1982) is Ontario Medical Director of private corporation LifeLabs Inc (previously MDS Diagnostic Services). Founded 1958 in BC by Dr C COADY. Another connection with OMA is Past CEO OntarioMD now LifeLabs Snr VP Information Technology. OntarioMD is in same buildibg as OMA (150 Bloor St West) and advises on Electronic records.
