OMA Pres.term is one year. To keep practice alive many Presidents are part of a clinic or have a medical spouse.
ReplyDeleteOMA is trying to interest Academic doctors to get involved with the OMA. Most of Ontario's Top Docs find that OMA committees take too much time especially as Docs have to waste time travelling long distances to Toronto. Most committees could take place with video conferences.which are also paid by the OMA.
