Left preparation for cross-exam to student whose father Dr SPOTSWOOD was on CPSO discipline committee; (conflict of interest not declared by Father or Son). Result a disaster. CMPA does NOT PAY FOR JUDICIAL REVIEWS (APPEALS are from COURT verdicts) to CPSO Tribunal verdicts. As a result MDs often settle with a guilty plea. Also CPSO now charges $3,600 per TRIBUNAL day. OMA does not object to this extortion.
